midwest estate

This Midwestern estate needed a solid design to work with the architecture scale. PSLA used retaining walls and a variety of materials to create a visual foundation for the house with a terrace and extensive plantings to soften the architectural forms. In the rear, a screen porch, upper terrace for dining and cooking, and lower patio for spa and fire pit provide a variety of entertaining spaces connected with a meandering walkway. Surrounding perimeter views are hidden or softened by plantings.
